ABHI has recently outlined the inevitable consequences that the surge in coronavirus cases will have on the levels of NHS elective activity. The impact of this on our industry is mixed and by no means uniform.
Whilst ABHI continues to advocate for the positives it has seen in innovation adoption to be captured, it maintains that parts of our sector will once again be under pressure and will need much of the same support being afforded to businesses impacted by local lockdowns. They are therefore working closely with the Office for Life Sciences to better understand and describe the impact of COVID-19 on our sector.
To aid this, ABHI has launched a survey for HealthTech manufacturers. This survey is not limited to ABHI members, and Medilink encourages our members to complete the survey, in order to get the best possible picture of the impact of the pandemic so far.
Survey deadline: 30 October at 5pm GMT
ABHI will then work with the Office for Life Sciences to analyse the results and consider different solutions to support the sector.
