- Medilink East Midlands and West Midlands
Medilink EM and WM are life science industry associations whose aim is to help companies establish, develop and grow. These networks of more than 8000 contacts in over 1700 organisations represent all aspects of the sector, including private and public institutions; from multinationals to high potential start-ups, as well as the NHS and universities.
- East Midlands and West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (AHSN)
The Academic Health Science Networks remit, individually and collectively, is to develop collaboration across all sectors involved in healthcare – the NHS, social care and public health, universities, third sector, and industry – to identify, test and spread ways to drive NHS transformation.
- Midlands Innovation Health (MIH)
MIH is a world-class research and innovation partnership, combining the Medical strengths of 7 research-intensive universities based in the Midlands. The partnership unites university research with the unique strengths of the Midlands industry, within a joint academic-NHS innovation environment, to drive cutting-edge research, collaboration, and skills development.
MIH institutions are the Universities of Aston, Birmingham, Keele, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick.
- Midlands Health Alliance (MHA)
MHA includes the Midlands Biomedical Research Centres, Clinical Research Facilities and wider NIHR infrastructure. By working together we will develop a shared strategy for maximising the impact of NIHR funding for clinical experimental research through agreeing priority areas that we can address collectively whilst working to avoid duplication and put the Midlands at the heart of UK biomedical research excellence.
